OUR VISION
Jamil Eqb is the funder of Planeta Libre. (Free Planet)
He is a self made man, and has a life behind him of big successes in several industries.
In May 2013 he had a vision, to start a project of solidarity in the region of San Martin in Peru. In December of last year he dicided to start his adventure in a little village of San Martin, Aguano Muyuna.
Together with his wife and daughter of 2 years old and some of his nearest friends he arrived in this little village where they were welcomed by the locals. They are just renting a little house in Aguano Muyuna.
Planeta Libre is a symbolic action he says, to show how you can make a difference even without money, just using one master mind for the the benifit of humanity.
Planeta Libre will be the first eco-sustainable city on Earth.
It is situated in Aguano Muyuna, district Chazuta, San Miguel in northwestern Peru and has about 1700 hectares.
It will develop and unite a set of villages and communities, in order to form a self-sustaining city.
OUR MISSION
Each village or community will live under a common term, solidarity, consensus, tolerance, peace, equality, respect for all living things, the absolute respect for nature and what it provides.
There will be no traditional political systems. It will be based on a new concept of free existing.
Traditional medicine will be incorporated into the naturist, holistic and spiritual medicine. There will be no specific religious beliefs, citizens will love in every act they do, to eachother and all that exists, because since we breathe he/it is in us.
We are human and our responsibility as human beings is to preserve and protect the existing, anything that Mother Nature, who gave us life has entrusted us, to be her children and loved ones.
We are not interested in the least to enter into controversy with anyone. As we say, this is our mission and it is something we think and we will do and we would like to make this available freely to those who want to join.
